Terms of Service
Effective August 10, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Boop's website, wallet interface, APIs, MCP server, smart contracts, Booptags, contacts, payment links, swap interfaces, optional yield or Round Up features, and related services. By connecting a wallet, submitting a transaction, or otherwise using Boop, you agree to these Terms.
Operator
Boop is operated by Sumiro Foundation, a Cayman Islands entity. References to “Boop,” “Sumiro,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Sumiro Foundation and its service providers where applicable.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18. You may not use Boop where it is unlawful, restricted, or requires authorization the operator does not hold. Availability of the website does not mean every feature is legally offered in your location.
Wallet and transactions
You control and secure your wallet. We never request your private key. Blockchain transactions can be irreversible. Review every wallet request before signing. Network fees, outages, congestion, wallets, price movement, and third-party swap routing can affect payments.
Payment operation
Boop helps users send, request and track wallet-signed payments. SOL and supported token transfers settle through the user's wallet and the selected network. Off-chain metadata such as messages, contacts, read status and notification preferences stays in Boop.
Payment links and requests
Payment links can be open, partially paid, completed, cancelled or expired. You are responsible for checking the recipient, asset, amount and request details before signing. Boop can show metadata and status, but the wallet transaction is still final once accepted by the network.
Booptags, contacts, and labels
Booptags are public handles mapped to wallets on the selected network. You are responsible for checking that a Booptag, contact, label, or saved wallet is the person you intended. Contact labels are personal notes for your dashboard and do not prove identity.
Booptag safety and moderation
Boop is designed as a decentralized platform, so Booptags are generally registered without prior manual approval when they satisfy the technical registration rules. That openness does not permit abuse. Booptags must not be used to harm, threaten, harass, defame, impersonate, scam, dox, exploit tragedy, promote violence, attack protected groups, infringe rights, or create a material risk to users, the public, or the service. We may, at our discretion, review, hold, hide, block, reserve, disable, transfer, reclaim, or remove a Booptag or related listing, and may limit associated account features, when we believe a name or its use is abusive, unlawful, misleading, harmful, or likely to damage another person, group, brand, or Boop.
Fees, swaps, card, and local payment providers
Boop may show Boop fees, network fees, swap quotes, card processing costs, local payment costs, and third-party provider costs before approval. Live quotes can change. Third-party providers may apply their own terms, limits, holds, reversals, or compliance checks.
No custody or investment advice
Boop is not a bank, custodian, broker, investment adviser, tax adviser or legal adviser. SOL, USDC, Round Ups, stocks, integrations, and other digital assets can change in value. Optional tools are not recommendations. Nothing in the service is investment, tax or legal advice.
Prohibited conduct
You may not evade location, sanctions, wallet, or rate controls; exploit contracts or interfaces; use stolen funds; automate abusive volume; interfere with the service; impersonate another person; or use Boop unlawfully.
Settlement and failed payments
A payment is complete when the relevant network records settlement. The verified on-chain record controls if the website, database, wallet, or another interface displays different information. A pending payment may remain delayed during network, RPC, wallet or routing disruption.
Boop points
Boop points (XP) are non-transferable, off-chain activity points. They are not cryptocurrency, money, or an investment and have no cash value. Points do not create rights to tokens, distributions, or future conversion.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boop is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free software, a particular result, or the continued availability or value of SOL, USDC, wallets, swaps, RPC providers, Solana, or third-party services. Sumiro Foundation is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, special, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, asset-price changes, or failures of wallets, networks, markets, or services outside its reasonable control. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain in force.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Sumiro Foundation and its contributors, officers, contractors, and service providers against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of Boop, breach of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or misuse of a wallet or the service.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any nonwaivable rights you have under applicable law, the courts of the Cayman Islands have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or Boop.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Questions and legal notices may be sent to legal@sumiro.com.
